STO has a bargain IMO 30 % undervallued and hopefully the discount ratio that OSH holders received will be partially paid back to all holders of the New combined Santos is in theory more effecient, better financesd, better mix of projects and can cover STO historic legacy shutdowns / remediations. Increase in % on index should also create demand as things settle down.

Expect a whole string of good news that has been delayed with production and effeciencies to come .

The combined company has teh ability to partner up and also mop up small and large companies so expect more corporate action

Thanks for the explanation. For me I'm more curious why WPL simply didn't outbid STO? Given it already seems to have been a low ball offer and in retrospect it seems stupid WPL just left it alone.
