I know what your saying tretch,
a site I worked at shut part of the plant down and laid off half the employees.
The crews were smaller and we found using our mobiles for communication was easier then carrying around a 2-way.
When the other part of the plant fires back up then hand helps will be required again because of the nature of the work and environment.
IMO not being able to have radio communication is something that can be accommodated for and by no means is a show stopper or something share holders should be the least bit worried about.
