Well then lets drive the constructive discussion you mentioned that you wanted.

Undisputed facts in the WA hard rock space vs brine are the following:
    • Late 2019 completion of a AUD$1.8billion value investment in Wodgina by Albemarle for 60% of Wodgina for 135mt @ 1.15% grades Li2O - acquistion has been completed now with a view to be in production at later years. Whether that is 5 or 10 years does not matter.
    • Sept 2019 completion of $760mil takeover by Wesfarmer of Kidman for 95mt @ 1.4% Li2O plus a share in a new Lithium Hydroxide plant in WA - Wesfarmer and SQM will have FID on this project in 2021 still in time for expected the 2025 and beyond Lithium demand
    • Greenbushes's deposit held by Tianqi and Albemarle (their stakes were bought for many $billions) are selling all of what they produce and their new Lithium Hydroxide plant is already in operation no issues there. However, Greenbushes deposit particularly its high grade ore will deplete before this decade is finished.
    • GXY completed its divestment of 50% of its Brine assets for USD$280mil in 2019. It is now just taking things very slowly at its remaining 50% of its Brine project.
    • SQM's Lithium Brine project in Chile has had its application for expansion rejected due to strong water & environmental concerns to what brine production has done to the country and its water table. This is another set back for brine both in terms of environmental impact it poses and also a good thing to limit new supply getting into the market. All european battery and car maker's focus has been report in the news that they are looking for green source of Lithium for their batteries. Brine's production impact of the environment is evident and this will impact many decisions against sourcing Lithium from brine.

If i have missed out anything else others can fill in and what is clear from the above is that money and investment flowing into Hard Rock. This is a clear and undisputed fact - where brine projects are struggling with environmental and investment issues.
Just follow the big money trail and see for yourself which way its flowing. Undoubtly its into Hard rock and flowing out of brine.
Everything else is just noise in ones own head.
