We already know we are targeting with R&D, Anode and Cathode. But the new verbiage about storage systems is new. This will relate to the battery packs Novonix and Emera Technologies are working with, possibly Kore as well. I could also be looking a little too hard into that tho.

BIF funding is already set a minimum amount USD $100 million and Novonix has multiple segments within the business model that can apply for slices of the $6 billion for this market.

Defence Production Act, still yet to see how this will play out, but the entire reason Admiral Natters was recruited to the Board is his high level connections to US Government and US Military networking. Novonix being fully integrated to the US, with backing of P66 is a massive advantage for the company.

With $210 million in the bank and possibly of securing multiple lines of grants, many of which are as stated minimum USD $100 million, we should be safe from any short term capital raising.

If I was management, I would have all the ducks lined up for US DOE Loan Program, but that would be my last course of action when the other two programs can offer serious cash with no pay back option to scale.

Don't underestimate Novonix leadership team, Andrew Liveris was recruited by US Congress too help lead the BIF with civilian CEOs within the US.
