Unless a CR is after the next AGM & at that AGM shareholders refresh the companies ability to place shares any CR would need to be via a rights issue. (Unless it is via partner funding which most likely would need to go to shareholders for approval anyway).
I think the days of SI doing inside deals with his friends are over as I would expect that GG would want to fully underwrite a rights issue if there was one. But this would be up to the board to decide.
