    These are my views @M3FORME you could well be right. I don't see it that way, thats what make HC a nice debate site.

    The transition from fossil to renewable is a fact. Whilst some fossil lovers will look to a Trump to return to the glory days of the Internal Combustion Engine the facts are clear, the USA will not be left behind with a moribund technology. The oil and gas States are small in real $ terms, handy votes to have so obviously its normal to pander, perhaps tiny concessions which have no directional effect on the wave to electrify with renewables.

    Even Trump has been very different in power on the subjects, he is surprisingly green on many issues.The over arching fact is that the USA cannot and will not be left behind the EV supercharged areas such as Europe, China and basically rest of the developed world, its so important that most in the USA see it as a national security issue due to the spill over tecnology required by the military, you don't want to be smoking diesal out in this new EV race.

    The USA will lead the technology.
