Perhaps it is because of the Motley Fool article (reposted on Yahoo Finance): "How this fund manager smashed the market over the last 12 months" resulting in FOMO from people who missed acquiring the stock at a lower price.
It could also be the fact that the new Federal student loan rates now apply (lower rates) and perhaps investors expect more CLV / revenue from CRD from refinancing of these loans.
Or potentially the cat is out of the bag, where the 4Q results have been leaked or known to some people close to insiders?
