There's lots to be pleased about this first Big RED quarterly and FY report - although KOTH ASIC was elevated for various reasons at A$2216, while Mt.Monger was also elevated at A$2400 also for various (one off) reasons, and Deflector ASIC was around A$1600 .....
CAN WE PLEASE STOP REGURGITATING THE NONSENSE ABOUT PROFITLESS OUNCES ..... FFS
As for the hedge book "literally bleeding money" .... LOL... more scrambled nonsensical metaphors that serve no purpose.
There are 291,188oz to be delivered over the next 2yrs when total production should exceed 900,000 - 1,000,000oz.
That means 600-700,000 unhedged oz's does it not ??

The new amalgamated hedge book has no ounces that are less than A$300 net profitable, and these are relatively minor part of overall production.
These hedges must be worked through, and at worst, are expensive insurance, at best, money spent (risking) a hedge buy out is better spent elsewhere.
The hedges were imposed on RED by the bank lenders at a time when RED had no choice but to eat the proverbial ' sh#t sandwich' .... the RED bride had a blemish, but that will pass, and KOTH, and the rest of Big RED assets will soon enter into an unfettered peak positive cash flow, that will catapult Big RED into a much higher orbit, the envy of its peers.

From now on, these quarterly reports should not be seen as "RED" or "SLR" assets, but Big RED, and the order of presentation matters nil.
A new name would reinforce the reality of Big RED's new robust health and longevity, and leave RED and SLR scars & scabs to fade away.

The stated intention to bring forward higher grade ounces to benefit from continuing high prices, while they last ( ? )
Expect more integration, more fine tuning of production and process, and, a share price consolidation.
The issue of SLR's RED share holding will also be clarified, and so endless speculation about this is a complete waste of time and a useless diversion.

Why do so many RED passengers think they can fly the plane better than the pilot .... I think these idiots are the equivalent of a drunk and rowdy passenger who should be restrained and removed from the plane .... can we settle .... keep the seatbelt on, and wait till the plane is beyond a bit of rough weather ??
If you don't think RED is now a good investment then FFS move on and stop boring us all with the same old same old ....
