I pretty much agree with most of what you've said. It's not going to be easy to get agencies to sign up to RENT.com.au, especially when RentPay is 'focussed on the renter'. I had a look at the product a while ago and i didn't want to pay the extra dollar for a service i didn't think added much value at all.

I'm hoping they'll figure out a way to make RentPay free and offer other products around it, similar to how they do with their Listing buisiness (core business).

Anyone i'm in for a punt. But i'm with you it's going to be incredibly difficult to get to 1% of market. Most companies put that in their announcement just to give investors of the idea of how big the market is, not as an actual goal i'd thought.
