I think it would have been stupid of Dr.T to say “not looking to sell until transaction” or saying “I believe in DCB” etc and in the same breath to say “I am selling…”.
I think it was only logical for both DT to say as an outgoing director, also for his own holding to not fall, and belief in Race/ Zantrene based on the last 3-4 years of progress. The BOD would have wanted DT to say it to reassure the SHs and not create a panic.
I wouldn’t read too much into it except that DR.T is both a very intelligent scientist and investor, which I don’t think is very common (and probably none on the BOD are).
