it would not surprise me if RRL had looked at Bullseyes dirt... they are desperate for more open pit ounces.
2.5g/t is 250% higher than most of RRLs open pit grades.

Good post @Gwaihir- I prefer to read hard hitting thoughts that play devils advocate, as you are a holder like myself.
I think it will be very interesting to see what sort of MRE gets announced next year for the new assets in the north. Though perhaps what else they have have found outside of infill drilling may change my mind quite quickly.... who knows though, as we literally have no idea.

The southern assets are also interesting, as they are going to be bringing in a small amount of cashflow due to the processing deal with WMC. Perhaps there is more value in those assets too.

Also a good counter post @Sherlock Buffet - though of course, its easier to back EMRs management.

I note you don't actually disagree with Gwai regarding the deal being a cheap one. Do you have a view on the price paid?

NST would likely be happy enough to do a deal. Their Bronzewing plant is likely not big enough to interest them, BGL are building their own plant so... makes sense for EMR to buy it and make use of it. Perhaps EMR might even be able to buy some of the deposits close to Bronzewing?
A shame the asset would not come with any large tax losses, but.. perhaps that does not outway the advantages of being able to turn a plant on within say 18-24 months with a solid mine plan etc.

Hopefully we won't need to wait too long to find out. Just need the Bullseye deal to be fully completed before they move again I assume.
