bentleigh - RED won't get AUD$2,900 for all the ounzes they sell in 23/24. Deliveries under hedges will produce revenue of about AUD $2,200-2,300 per ounze.
My rough take is that the optimistic scenario seems to be based on the AUD gold price staying around where it is at the moment - the other scenario seems to factor in the AUD gold price falling to average about AUD $270 (or nearly 10%) below where it is now (ie averaged over the 23/24 financial year).
