Search Engine Optimisation, which is what you are referring to is not something that happens instantly. It generally take several months for changes to occur without significant advertising dollars changing hands with Mr Google.
Aspen should have known this and put a strategy in place to address all the ladies using Dr Google. They clearly have not done this and while SPL might be impressed with the enthusiasm and professionalism of Aspen, the thing that neither seems to understand is the importance of digital advertising in some markets.
A lot of what Aspen markets to pharmacies and medicos is prescription medicine and that market is unlikely to require much in the way of broad market advertising. That is not the case with Vivagel (Fleurstat), an OTC product for a very common condition, which demands a different approach, which must include digital advertising.
I still have not had an answer to my follow up email to SPL so they either don't know how to do this or don't care (that is a real worry).
