This announcement in isolation may not be send off any alarm bells. But there are a couple of other points worth noting.
1. The previous CFO, J.Martin held the position for only 12 months (Dev 16 to Dec 17). Like CFO Coventry, she was a very experience finance executive and no reason was given for her departure.
2. The former Chairman V. Webber left the board in Oct 2016, he also has a strong accounting background.
More worryingly though is that Mr. Coventry commenced in January 2017. That means he was employed with the company for 13 months, and not 18 months stated in the announcement!
