Whether u see this as + or - today it will probably b better in long run.
It may b that this was on the cards for sometime …. Reinforced by Melissa’s recruitment, giving her a few months to build relationships and get up to speed. She is well connected so talking to potential chairs will b easier with RG decision public.
The self awarded share/ payments and how that played out might have been his golden handshake to self.
They have had plenty of time to work thru dates etc
If you are going to leave, pre the TO and DFS would b the right time.
