Its a lot easier to ask a lazy stupid question like this than to actually do something useful and worthwhile like investigating robotic trading and share price manipulation.
I guess they think that they are seen to be doing something and justifying their existence.
This stock has been played for a long time to the frustration of Management and shareholders.
Its about time that they had a good look at the "market makers" as Jamie Diamond & Co like to see themselves.
During the global financial crises the grunts were told by management to off load the crap on their books by recommending buys to their gullible clients.
And the Rating agency's were about as useful as tits on a bull. Giving the big banks a pass knowing that they had a whole lot of overpriced crap on their books. Their concern was that they would lose clients if they gave an honest assessment.
No real change, no one held accountable, no jail time, what a disgrace.
And so here we are again
