That’s a great post @chrisnj and you have described the state of play well and in a measured way without getting too passionate and frustrated which I sometimes do.

I will add that IMO the DEP Radiotherapeutic and DEP Radiodiagnostic candidates that are still in pre-clinical phase have always been bottom drawer back up products. They have been in research/pre-clinical literally for years and years and it seems there’s now an urgency to progress them into the clinic because nothing else has worked out as planned for Starpharma.

I had hoped against hope that in the 2nd half of this year we may have had a surprise announcement that AstraZeneca may have taken DEP into a new direction which would have been a huge catalyst for Starpharma.

Alas, despite over a decade of very close ties and collaborations (off the top of my head the partnership started in 2012), AstraZeneca have decided that there is absolutely nothing in Starpharma’s platform that is worth using with their extensive suite of programs and candidates. A killer blow IMO.

I’m just so disappointed it’s come to this.

P.S. Starpharma seemingly crab-walking away under the cover of darkness from the importance of AstraZeneca and dismissing the deal termination as no big deal because apparently it was clear to shareholders that the partnership was completely inactive and going nowhere is the death knell for my trust.
