Achieving 1 m3 with different material mix is achieving volume, weight will wary, there is 7kg less water and a lot more manufactured sand.
Yes HRM is 0.04% by weight, still 1 kg per m3.
The issue is what is the probability of 10% of worldwide concrete production changing to use of HRM?
Second issue is that the report shows calculations for cost savings in concrete mixes at 32MPa and 40MPa.
On bottom of page 14 and continuing to page 15 author stated the for 25MPa concrete the costs increased dramatically to estimated $5 per m3.
So yes there is a potential cost reduction in high strength industrial concrete mixes but for normal family home foundation slab, driveway or most non industrial applications there is a cost increase,
Anyone still thinking that getting HRM into 10% of concrete worldwide is feasible?
