And you think a politician anywhere is going to be beholden to coments made 6 years ago? Mahathir could find a thousand reasons as to why he was mislead or the situation has changed, if he wanted to. What struck me with the article is the level of naivety in relation to nuclear materials and rare earths, although this could also be a reflection of the journalist's ignorance.
There is clearly a political game going on with this review and it is not yet apparent to us observers, as to the underlying reasons. Until the game plays out and we learn more, then LYC has to remain a high risk stock.
