I don't recall a market update stating the commercial impact of the litigation.

As far as I can recall Synlait moved full steam ahead totally regardless of the covenant and legal action.

And it is of course Synlait who are continuing the action with this appeal. (And it was Synlait who started it all off by commencing a build contrary to covenant requirements. And Synlait who finished an industrial construction build on land that was contractually set aside for grazing or forestry.

Perhaps in hindsight they should have fully resolved the covenant issue before exposing themselves to potential commercial impacts.
