Although CGT balancing is quite meaningless with a PDF like SOR, for anyone thinking today is an opportunity to cover capital gains with losses it is too late to sell today. T+3 settlement means the loses, for sales made today, will not be countable in the 2020-2021 financial year. Gains and losses realized at sale are tied to the settlement date and not the date an order got satisfied.
