After a long lunch with some other Starpharma shareholders today I am of the opinion (and yes it is an OPINIONonly) that JF was 'encouraged' to step down at this time .... what CEO would announce her retirement while the company is sitting at such a low point ?
Why not wait a couple of months and announce this retirement off the back of the DEP phase 2 results that we have been told multiple times were going to be announced in the Sept 2023 quarter ? It's only a couple of months ?
Why announce on such a low when you could announce on a high (assuming the data replicates the case studies published in the Shareholder Updates) ? If you are not leaving until 2024 there seems to be plenty of time even if you planned to leave on 1 January, 2024 ?
So again I ask .... why not wait (if you had a choice) to announce said retirement off the back of the trial results ? Not buying it and that is my prerogative based on the opinion I have formed from the timing of said announcement
