EV demand in the US expected to pick up.
Tax rebates of $US 7500 for new EVs and up to $US 4000 for used EVs.
On top of this, some States are offering incentives.
Pretty good deal considering high Lithium use pick-ups sell new for an average price of $US43 to $45k.
The larger pick ups use significantly more Lithium per battery than smaller cars and are huge sellers in the US.
CXO has around $200m cash plus 6 months' worth of already paid for rock on the ROM waiting to be processed and turned into cash.
Winding back early is a smart move by CXO
