Read somewhere recently (can't remember where, was a sort of side issue) that big batteries - 12 hour plus - are being seen as non-viable economically due to the sum of renewables now having steady and diverse outputs. (Baseload, anyone?) The concern is that they will sit idle for long periods.

If so, this leaves RFX in a sweet spot with its medium term output batteries.

No, toli, I don't, but seem to remember it being mentioned on another RFX tread. From memory, they are doing fine. Someone else may know.
