Western Australia faces an “imminent and potentially severe” gas supply shortfall that threatens jobs and economic growth, a parliamentary committee looking at the state’s domestic gas supply warns.
The state’s much-lauded policy of making gas exporters reserve 15 per cent for the local market was “no longer fit-for-purpose”, according to the Economics and Industry Standing Committee’s interim report on the arrangement, tabled on Thursday.
“This shortfall is likely to threaten thousands of WA jobs, jeopardise billions of dollars’ worth of economic activity and derail the state’s decarbonisation agenda,” the committee said in a statement"

Gas, GAS and more GAS. Currently for WA that's what its all about. You read the above and it drives home strong.
As most here know the STX our 25% drill partner has had a horrific fall in SP due to poor drill results lately. I feel the pain as a SH. Oh boy STX admitted to the ASX200 and looking roses only a couple of weeks ago at around .50c and then crash bang. A low of .20c this week.
For TEG its going to get so interesting when we drive into a zone of PB that has already proven itself previously as a gas and oil producer in L7/437 and not been touched for a Johnny Longtime..
Now with the latest and greatest seismic completed already to get us into the hot spots. JOY
Makes a huge difference we all know that.
The pressure on SN at STX will be compelling at present to cough up a winner more than ever right now.
Once the PGY/TEG deal is done and all liability handed over to PGY.
It really is now more than ever a compelling case that STX will take a crack at our operatorship and 50% predrill because of many fronts.
We have an excellent relationship with Mitsui for obvious reasons, and they also hunger for more gas in a big way.
The only reason Mike Collins sits on out Board is because of what is coming up at L7/437 and its big possible potential, and Mitsui know it.
Because of this I very much doubt Mitsui will just sit back on the couch with the feet up.
Then it should get very interesting.

Come on CT lets get some drill dates happening and get this PGY deal done and dusted so the PB gas games can begin. AGAIN
Just a matter of time all IMHO.
    GO TEG
