As a few folks have already noted, the most likely outcome is that they saw the transaction is complete and the money is locked in. Maybe there's something else as well, but I think that is unlikely for this announcement.
There's some significant reversal in popular positions at the moment, so that would be a good sign for the lithium stocks.
