I invested in VN8 from IPO (circa 2015) and held until it peaked this year around the 32c mark. This was something I backed well before Next Investors commenced their Investor Awareness program for the company. It was a long grind for me so that is why I sold after waiting nearly 6 years.
Recently (4 weeks ago) I have jumped back on board because I thought the valuation at 14c presented me with significant upside. Orange Agreement and Nextel Acquisition have commenced/completed, yet the SP has trailed back a little more, I topped up some more around the 12.5c mark.
The most recent acquisition, Nextel, had the following high level figures:
- $2m revenue - $450k ebitda
It was announced 18 December 2020, I do not think there was any TH component pre this announcement. That suggests the above figures were not substantial enough to the company to warrant a TH.
On this latest TH around the "potential material acquisition" it suggests the acquisition will be "huge" in either revenue or ebitda potential. "Huge" is in the context of VN8's current business. My prediction is a $5m ARR business or higher.
