This is why i am voting NO, and my interpretation, i am no legal expert, just piecing what i have heard together from other commentators along with my own views.
We are one country, one nation. And i was born here, and many others who immigrated here, now or generations ago, have equal rights. And i have not stated whether i am an Abo or other.
No one born here today is responsible for what occurred a century or more ago. Neither is anyone a victim today either. Perpetuation of division, simply seeks to rent seek entitlement and victim hood.
The yes vote, will make one race have vito power in government, where the rest of us put elected representation. The abo has representation in parliament already..
There is no election of the Abo council voice ,there is selection.
When you enshrine a voice in the constitution, every law that parliament attempts to pass, or any representation that the voice makes, that is ignored, can be challenged in the high court, whose job it is to satisfy that the other laws are in keeping with the constitution. As when a high court is controlled by leftist / or elitist globalists, we have then surrendered sovereignty to the whim of the new dictators. Albo said it would be a brave government that would ignore them.

A treaty is something that a country makes with a separate country. Like after a war. And peace terms.

When they have the voice, and representation that can not be ignored, they can then institute the rest of their agenda. eg. = removal of colonial land rights ? (how much of Aus has already been handed back ?)/ own sub country ? / reparations in one form or another?, rent / supported in perpetuity by the rest of the country paying eg. 1% of GDP.?? etc, etc, etc. And you dont think that corruption will then dictate that the elites get handed all that eg. 20 billion to squander ? it never goes to where it needs to.
