The trouble is, assuming the papers are wrong they are putting a negative spin on things that may cause even more investors to sell. The scheme is already poorly understood by too many investors. Raising at a large premium should in theory actually increase the SP by a little but as soon as there's mention of the instos buyers only having to buy the shares second hand at a second hand price the market then treats the CR as a bad thing diluting holders by being below the previous SP.
