Some background I found:
What is clear from some of the historical info is the problems of BMA related to:
- Attempt to high grade resource, which did not work (BMA mined 10 g/t Au not the 30 g/t they planned), they needed to have much higher grades as gold price was around A800/oz and ore was trucked about 300km to mill.
- Resource hangs together better at lower cut-off grades which is possible at current gold prices.
NQM looked at open pit mining and UG at 309 in 2009m before being taken over by Conquest (A$1500/oz)
