Transformers fore and aft.
Maybe a whole new system is required.
How will this all fit into the current grid system, I don't know.

This is all looking too hard for me. Someone with transmission line experience might like to express an opinion.

I don't think that this is a fait a complis by any means. I look forward with interest.

If it doesn't eventuate, it could sink the project.

Looking at this I think it's likely the cable thickness that needs the uprade, 260kms by 3, the lightning - earth wire on top is OK I guess.

This is the tower on the left before it crosses the Outback Way just before the Old Mine Turnoff.

There are some 725 such towers by my estimation (380m spacing)

The Towers footing are probably OK

Anyway it's food for thought and BTW there is already 275MW one at the bottom end near Stirling North.
