I thought that a "fella" was just anyone in a peer group i.e. a member of our blogging group. Anyway, you raise an interesting point about women gamblers.

It has been pretty well established that women are far more risk averse than men are when it comes to gambling.

Therefore, I will cowardly hide behind the assumption that women are too smart to gamble on spec. stocks and therefore would avoid risk by seeking the advice of reputable brokers.

As for the 'latter', it is too volatile at the moment for my liking. I will watch and see what it looks like when it settles down. I have not had a lot of success speculating on stocks trying to move in on contentious and well-established industries.

It too, as will NRZ, have to fight the environmental movement. IMO.
