Even widget makers give away margin to get throughput. Focusing on performance targets is so short sighted.
If I got a call from JK and he said you have two options. A. You can further test your new software and that produces all kinds of benefits but it won't be much margin and you'll trigger the third tranche of performance shares vs let's just shut the operation down for a while...I know ultimately what's the best for my investment. IMO.
