This in the future may allow advertising but it will still be restricted to advertising for which specific approval was achieved and also will need to have data , tests and trials etc to support any claims made ian any for of advertisment.

This isn't open slather and as seen by $93,000 fine and payment of fine SPL has sailed too close to the wind , crossed the line and / or made errors in its understanding of allowed conduct. Yes it is a worldwid emarketplace but it really looked like IMO a amateur mistake not geobloking sites and advertisments in a suitable manner to stay compliant. TGA can still apply specific controls, restrictions over individual product , product groups device, medicine etc etc.

We have no idea if TGA will continue to accept that SPL products do fit the box as a device and due and that may have consequences beyond just SPL and it's products. There is always risk.
