I used to hold AVL but got out of it - thought VA was a complete goose that was all over the place managerially and strategically BUT had done quite a lot of reading on the technology and that looked good and Australia looked well placed for resources and academic ((theoretical battery design) know how.

Your comment - especailly in a thread where at long last AVL has accomplished something concrete - they've got a working plant producing electrolye and in the context of them having consolidated two small minows into a larger entity is useful. I would always be wary of AVL management because of my recollection of VA. But I remain interested in the pluses - the tech, the Aussie location and resources and know how.
