I borrowed the quote from a a bloke on twitter. It was simply to say that as it is the 2nd last day of the financial year, many an investor would be tossing up what to do with a gold punt that they’re underwater in . Doubling down is not exactly new school. Rather than accuse the management of insider trading as an explanation for the 2 Pip rise in share price today ( I’m sure they would be offended and not need the unnecessary slur on their characters),consider other less devious reasons. Whether I bought a share today or not is no one’s business.Whether I have 1000 shares or 4 million shares is also no one’s business.If a share looked a buy at high 4’s, then it may well look a buy at high 1’s, with minimal change in fundamentals two months later. I surely have a right to express an opinion on why the share price moved today . I think I also have a right to defend the management against the accusation of insider trading.It unnecessarily diminishes confidence in the company. The personal attack is simply immature.
