Good point, DG. If AZN starts another Phase 1 trial with AZD0466 in February, will they owe SPL another milestone payment? Wonder what the SPL - AZN contract says about that?
If AZN had completed the first AZD0466 Phase 1 trial, and then started Phase 2, it would seem that another milestone payment (larger than Phase 1) would have been due to SPL. Instead, AZN moved to an "expanded, global Phase 1 / 2 trial" with no sign of an additional payment. Is AZN taking advantage of little ol' SPL?
