Having avoided Covid so far, and received my 4 vaccinations, I was hopeful that I would not catch Covid.Sadly after feeling unwell, I tested positive last Monday week. It was a very strong positive RAT. Lucky I am over 70, and after a bit of searching locally for anti virals, I was able to start my anti virals within a few hours of testing positive. A tele health consultation with a local doctor gave me a script for the anti vitals.They cost $1150, but my cost was only $7.30.There was a sour/yucky taste in my mouth for a week. I decided to isolate and finally tested negative on Monday, one week after becoming positive.Covid is still around. It is still seeing over 1,000 Australians a day in hospital. We need to be taking more precautions. I am masking up again, when going out in public.
