Probably Ferrets used in this testing as their respiratory system similar to humans they are widely used in such testing. I would suggest this is as near as you can get to human testing without purposely infecting people. This type of testing generally accepted as proof of action by regulating bodies, I think it is a fantastic announcement just as we head into a huge Omicron wave, all we need is TGA to get on with approval. Imo
