TGA will never have egg on its face. It gets challenged all the time in different areas so SPL is nothing special IMO. We don't have enough detail to understand what actually went on and real timings.
TGA will or won't approve Viraleze in its normal process.

I don't understand how SPL could stockpile Viraleze as IMO they can't package until packaging is approved. Unless they go for lowest common demonimator - nasal spray - no claim at all then they will have to wait and see approval classification and then do appropriate packaging and then do distributor deal followed by import of product. The upside is it could be sold before distributership by web but it IMO wouldn't be a good look and may harm distributorship agreement unless there was spectacular sales results- honestly not likely apart from an initial shareholder splurge at cheaper lower AUD prices unless IMO they continue to scalp clients fo rexpensive postage. .

Market is full of nasal sprays etc etc and unless Viraleze can make certain claims it IMO will just be another unknown brand struggling to achieve shelf space in pharmacy with a minor budget to promote and no leverage of branding ro supply agreements unlike incumbants and big pharma. Every % point share will be fought over along with long lead times regarding end of aisle shelf space and promo that are booked year in advance on planograms.

Pricing - depending on claims it will be interesting. There is a whoe matrix regarding price , voluem rebates and promotion and rarely so small players get teh correct sweet spot early IMO. Claim being made will place it in aprice range that is hard to escape.

I would be very surprised if SPL have all the ducks lined up and a " fast " launch was achieved and with no internet presence while awaiting approval and MHRA and TGA fines still top of search listings it may take a while to flush through a fresh internet view.

Positives - if approved by TGA depending on allowable claims it may open up other countries as I believe soem still require home market approval to take short approval route and other countries may be awaiting TGA approval.

I am interested in is next batches supplied to Italy go to lower claim or continue with existing packaging and same with NZ.

Good product or not it is very hard for consumers to tell.

All guesses as usual so lets see what happens but I don't believe it will be as simple as release it and clients will swarm to it.

good analysis. IMO jacky is desperate enough to print packaging “at risk” and hope it goes her way. She had long time now to talk with TGA and would have a good idea what they want to see. But I want to see a distributor deal asap or all a waste of time IMO.

I would like to know what cost of developing and Reg for viraleze been and what is brakeeven. She very lucky pandemic continue or she have bad egg on Face.
