Reading through the results again ... Is it just me or the design by the FDA seems to be flawed.
If you took vivagel and after 5 days and you are cured... Then most likely you are going back to activities that are going to see you reinfected, then 3 weeks later the study says the cure didn't work! We know the high prevalence of relapse hence he huge opportunity in the prevention market.
It seems to me the definition of cure here and the opportunity for reinfection/relapse seems to have skewed the results. also how can people taking a placebo see their cure rates go up after the study has finished?
I think we see this licensed after phase II prevention.
