Samsung is already heavily invested trying to bring MRAM to the embedded market. Toshiba have at least dabbled in ReRAM internally. Qualcomm have been developing MRAM internally, or at least were a while back.

This idea that these companies would be climbing over each other to get their hands on Weebit's technology would only make sense if Weebit was the only thing out there to potentially fill the next generation storage vacuum. But it's not. That's not really a problem for Weebit in my view - but it means that big players won't likely come knocking on their door. Weebit would have to spruik for their interest (and have given a reason they don't want to do this) or have a commercially proven product already out in the market to grab attention.
