Whilst I’d love to see a takeover at the right price (ie a really high one!) it won’t be from BHP. They are into large scale more liquid commodities (their pillars are iron ore, copper, met coal, potash and nickel) and don’t tend to dabble in niche metals.
RIO is a potential buyer as they have land nearby and don’t mind being in more niche products.
