I realise you asked Ya, but I think I can answer this one for you.
Rig 106 is a triple. So each drill stand will be about 30m long (triple is 3 x “randoms”). It’s just terminology that means the drill pipe is about 10m long. And a stand is, in this case, 30m. So each time you pull the string up 30m you need to stop, unscrew the 30m length and lower it down with the pipe handler.
If the rig was a double it would be every 20m. And a single would be ever pipe random.
So, if you assume each stand that comes out takes x minutes to POOH (pull out of hole), break out and lower before the top drive picks up the next stand you can work it out pretty quickly.
5200m / 30m = 173 stands.
assume 10 mins;
10 x 173 = 1730 mins = 28 hours.
might be quicker or slower than 10 mins depending on a number of factors.
