So this confirms that both Strike and Warrego are very happy with the results in the Wagina sandstone formation, but nonetheless they are casing off this section of hole and cementing it in place before they continue drilling down to the TD of 5200m. I just wonder when they expect drilling to resume -by the end of this week? Their only timing indication is that they expect the target depth to be reached by the end of August - 26 days time. That seems a long time to drill another 1,000m - do they expect drilling conditions to get significantly more difficult? or do they anticipate doing more wireline logging on the way down? or are they going to progressively case the hole as they go? I'm not sure that this announcement warrants a 1.5c jump in the sp, but that suggests there's lots of people ready with their fingers on the buy button with any hint of good news from WE2.
