To quote one of my gurus (who in turn is quoting Peter Lynch) "Although it's easy to forget sometimes, a share is not a lottery ticket... it's part-ownership of a business".
O&G businesses have good drills and bad drills. That's the nature of the game. I've stayed invested because I like the management, the operators, and the prospects.
And most importantly (for me) I like the game. It's like Snakes and Ladders, but with money.
