This thread has simply become full of scaremongering manipulative rubbish.

COE has solid assets:
-Heaps of cash
-Producing Developed Oil Reserves
-Quality, high margin production and cashflow.
-Cooper exploration acreage which has considerable market value, via either farmout or sale. A number of wild cat wells for 2006 remainder.
-Exploration assets of value in Tunisia, Cambodia and Indonesia.
-Capable management

IMO the first two items alone support a sp in at least the mid forties. But do your own research. Add the rest conservatively and the current sp looks like good value IMO. Whether it was worth 80 cps a couple of months ago. That's another matter.

To potential buyers/sellers I would warn that this thread appears to have degenerated, to the potential benefit of certain posters seeding doubts (with no factual or reasoned support) and hesitation in the minds of others, whilst possibly (by self admission in one case) buying themselves.

So Kellymm, where was Mike Scotts directors interest notice?? IMO your posts are a disgrace. Are you buying? Trying to buy cheaper?
