In the United States, it takes an average of 12 years for an experimental drug to travel from the laboratory to your medicine cabinet.
The chance for a new drug to actually make it to market is only 1 in 5,000. Not very good odds.
Now I am not an antivaxxer - I have had polio, chicken pox and measles vaccines and happy to have done so.
I may express cynicism however that not one but 7 new drugs have been released on the world within 18 months:
    Astra Zeneca
    Sinopharm
    Sputnik V
    Moderna
    Pfizer
    Johnson & Johnson
    Bayer CureVac

Thank goodness there are laws at present that allow me to choose not to be a guinea pig in this global experiment.
For those who have had one of these experimental drugs and are encouraging, nay demanding others do so too reminds me of religious fanatics who need a like minded flock surrounding them to justify their choices in life.
