Yeah I'm in Melbourne. From my limited understanding, e-cigs are legal to buy in Australia. You just can't buy the nicotine juice. Selling nic juice in Aus is illegal. However you can purchase nic Juice for personal use from overseas.
In Australia there are plenty of sites that sell e-juice with 0 nic content.
Having been on e-cigs for about a week, they are absolutely amazing. Besides the first day being a little jittery, I haven't craved at all. I can't recommend them highly enough.
There are plenty of aussie vaper sites that will sell starter kits(around $26). And once you have a basic understanding the site I listed above is from China and has the cheapest products and juice by a long way.
