anzac day, page-35

I am currently a serving member of the military and have done my share of deployments. This is the one day that ourselves that serve in a uniform can wear it with pride. Every other day we looked down upon for what gets written in the media and judged for the mistakes of others.I am constantly embarrassed for how we are perceived by the public. A good selling story is a bad one about the ADF. We don't expect special praise for what we do as we all know what we are in for when we enlist. We just expect respect from the public for what we do for our county...nothing more.
ANZAC day is for the serving and ex-serving to remember those who are no longer with us. This will never stop no matter who it offends.
